Schools are under pressure to introduce corporate-branded, screen-based technology into the classroom, and students are paying the price. Award-winning teachers Matt Miles and Joe Clement have seen the impact first-hand, and they can no longer ignore the sharp, drastic decline in students’ abilities to think, communicate, and interact with one another. This webinar, based on their book Screen Schooled, will offer real-world examples of technology overuse and misuse and equip teachers and parents with the tools to create change that supports students’ full development.

With a combined 30 years of experience improving education in Northern Virginia, Joe Clement and Matt Miles are passionate about supporting and advocating for students’ best interests. They have taught government, psychology, political science and world history. They are coaches and mentors who care deeply about students and their education.
